A New Yorker chef friend of ours took us here and it was absolutely wonderful!The food was great, the staff were fantastic and so helpful and the overall experience was a great one - would come back when I’m next in NYC!

The food here was terrific, and the service was very friendly. Dinner entrees are heaping platters that easily feed at least 3. I highly recommend the strawberry shortcake for dessert, but you should note that this is also huge - we split it 6 ways with ease.The only downside here was how loud it was - if anyone in your party is particularly sensitive to noise, you'll definitely want to look elsewhere - but I'm not sure you can expect anything else from a very popular restaurant right in Time Square.We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

Tony's DiNapoli was unbelievable. We had Ken as a waiter and he couldn't have been any better if he tried. He was unbelievable. He was very attentive to our table. He recommended that we order two apps and three entrees. We were a party of 6 and he was spot on with his recommendations. The restaurant was packed and we weren't rushed or made to order quick. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the times square area for the Broadway shows or just for a visit to the city

Place is not bad, food is just ordinary. Customer service was really awful. The waiter was more interested in the table next to me than actually giving us a good experience. I had to ask multiple times for water. The only reason why I am giving three stars is dessert. It was really good.

This was recommended to me and I am glad it was. Food was amazing, very balanced and yummy flavors. Service was great and the people (and even your table neighbors) were very friendly 😊

We were here for a friendly/family dinner. The place was perfect for the party of 10 we were, plenty of space around the table and the place remains relatively quiet even when busy. The dishes were delicious with many options to choose from. Service was flawless! Would definitely come back here with a group!

BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT EVER! Couldn’t be better and with a better price. I wouldn’t believe I could find one of the best Italian restaurants by Times Sq. I highly recommend it but make reservations in advance, there is always line. Please order the seafood pasta with your choice of pasta and sauce.

Nice customer service, quick and efficient and honest! The waiter was honest and told my friend and I that the plates are pretty big (so bang for your buck I suppose) and that we should share a plate of their special. Their specials all sounded great. We had an Alfredo and it was sure filling that my friend took it to go. Recommend to go if you're in the area.

The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. They fulfilled any requests that we had promptly and courteously. The portions are huge. Make sure that you try the fried Calamari, fettuccine alfredo, and the pasta with broccoli in the lemon garlic sauce. Once you see the menu, you may not know where to start. 😀👍👍

Amazing food, atmosphere, size of family style portions, price and service!!! Our waiter Patrick from Albania was spot on with his service and recommendations. The next time I’m in NYC I will definitely make reservations her again. We had the Linguine and clams, drinks galore and Tiramisu. AMAZING!!!!

We booked this restaurant straight after we had been to see Frozen after reading the reviews. We all absolutely loved it. We are a family of 5 so ordered the calamari to start and we got a massive portion. Then we had the spaghetti with meatballs and the fettuccine alfredo both just as good as each other. The meatballs were gorgeous and my kids loved them. Service and atmosphere was brilliant. We would highly recommend it and hopefully one day if we make it back to New York we will definitely return to Tony’s.

Servers were incredible. The place was bustling. We had 6pm reservations on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. This place does family style which means large portions meant to be shared with the table. The food was outstanding. And even with this super busy atmosphere they had us out in plenty of time for our 8 p.m. Broadway show.

One of my favorites in the city. Up scale tastes and choices at mid level pricing. The quality is never an issue. I frequently take clients there. There’s a reason, ya know!! They never fail.

Authentic Italian cuisine in an ideal location, in the heart of Times Square in the best hotel ever, The Casablanca Hotel! The dishes are consistently outstanding, and they serve the best Francese dishes around (by far!). The Shrimp & Chicken Francese Combo is my personal favorite! The pasta dishes are amazing, and the fish is fresh and wonderful! Highly recommended to try out this place, you will not be disappointed and you, too, will return!

Huge portions, great flavors. Make sure you go with a big group, at least 6 people. All portions are made to share.Definitely a must.Really cozy ambience.

We had a group of 11 crammed into their basement and it was an awesome overall experience. It's a family style restaurant so expect a lot of food. All of the food was delicious and our server was exceptional.

No single plates in this family style, unabashed Italian classic. Every bite was delish, and service was top notch. Had a toddler and infant and asked for many points of support. No one blinked an eye to offer a hand. Definitely make a stop if in town for a show

An incredible restaurant with great atmosphere and some really amazing food. Most of the single items on the menu serve two people, so my partner and I shared some garlic stuffed mushrooms and spaghetti and meatballs. You could tell they were freshly made in house and we couldn’t get enough. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive and despite the two hour wait for non booked tables, our food came out in a timely manner. Highly recommended

We went to eat here after we saw a show and what a great place to eat. Just understand that this is family style. Each plate will feed 2-3 people. That goes for appetizers, entrees and desserts. The picture shown is of a shrimp scampi appetizer. Our entree was veal florentine and was excellent. The restaurant was right in Times Square so it was a bit busy but it didn't feel like a tourist trap.

Wonderful restaurant in times square, one of the best Italian restaurant I ever been, with traditional home made flavors, and the service is extremely kind specially Dennis who made our stay even better. The wine list is pretty interesting, and they open till late. For shure the best best option in New York

The food was excellent and the service was very good too. Make reservations! They serve family style which means each course you order is meant to be shared. It is big enough for 2 to 3 people. We had 3PM reservations,  but if we didn't the wait would have been 40 minutes. The wait was even longer whem we left.

Excellent restaurant! Very nice prepared Italian food in a very nice place. The price is also excellent for groups and families. I pass by every time I visit NYC. I strongly recommend.

Fantastic food! Excellent selection of wines and reasonably priced! Come hungry as the portions are quite generous. None of us could finish our meals. Truly family style.

LOVE this place. I was hesitant because it's right in the heart of time square so was skeptical it would be great in quality of food but I was wrong! We had a big group of 10 so we got 4 pastas to share and some chicken plates. Portion sizes are great to share, and the food was absolutely delicious and so fresh! The desserts we got were the chocolate cake which comes with ice cream on the inside - YUM! And the tira misu. Will definitely be back here :)

A little noisy but excellent food and great service. Authentic Italian just off Times Square. Ask for a booth in the back and make certain you make reservations at least three months in advance.

The service was friendly and attentive. She knowledgeable about the specials and the rest of the menu. The food was great and served family style. All in all, an excellent choice for dinner, lunch or whatever.

The food was good and large portions. The 2 of us shared a one pasta dish. Great calamari.You should definitely make a reservation there since it’s too close to times square and usually a little too busy.

Service was very good. Atmosphere too. Food was good (not superb) with very large portions. Split dishes unless you eat a lot. Relatively expensive. Overall we enjoyed it.

Good food, family sized portions and rapid service. Unfortunately, the quickly prepared food wasn't accurate and the waitstaff rushed us through our meal. If you wish to dine on a Friday/Saturday, make a reservation for an earlier dinner slot. Otherwise, be prepared to wait. Also, this restaurant isn't accessible for the mobility handicapped. It's difficult to get through the door, then maneuvering is incredibly tiiigggghhhhhhtttttt and the elevator to get to the lower floor still includes stairs.

We had an amazing meal. Shout out to our server AG -I actually hugged him when we were leaving. The service, the food , the atmosphere - everything was perfecto!! Dessert was strawberry short cake family style. It was only missing sparklers, streamers & a marching band. Than you all for being part of our great date day!!!

Really good food. Huge portions to share. Very good service! Surprisingly reasonably priced. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was it was so loud that you need to try hard to hear the people you are with. Overall I recommend it for before or after a show. Good choice.

Atmosphere was hopping, front of the house staff very nice and helpful. Our waiter did not explain that this restaurant is family style and we ended up ordering only meat and enough for four people! Food was basic but good.

Pretty good, very nice first experience.The dishes are well served and the staff was very welcoming.The spaghetti was great.The staff did take quite some time to come back to your table, even with the place almost empty on a Sunday afternoon.

My family and I eat at Tony's every year as a holiday tradition. We have been eating here for the past 12 years. I have NEVER had a bad experience at Tony's. The food is absolutely outstanding, the staff is always pleasant and the atmosphere is great. If you are eating on a weekend or evening especially after a Broadway show lets out, I would suggest a reservation. You may be waiting a while without one. If I could give 10 stars I would. I love Tony's Di Napooli!!

As always the food was AMAZING. What was even more amazing was Robert our waiter. He was pleasant and had conversation with us throughout our meal. That man is the reason why places like this are so successful. Thank you Robert for making the trip from CT worth it

Get the stuffed mushrooms if you want to fully experience life. Our waiter was great. He recommended a bottle of wine that was perfect. Wish i knew the name. The people at the table next to us were great. We had the nicest time here. Four of us could have split one plate, which we should have, but we were with two kids that wanted spaghetti and meatballs, we got the chicken saltimbocca, and everyone was happy.

Best experience ever!!!! Great server and great price for the quality. Been to little Italy and carmine's in time square but Tony's was the best!!! Better customer service and very trustworthy staffs.especially kush. Best server ever!!!

Amazing! Best chicken parmigiana I've had. Right amount of sauce, cheese and seasoning. Great service too. The server explained that each plates was family style (for 2-3 people). She wasn't joking. Definitely will go back when in NYC again.

Great food! Worth using the opentable app and value for money this restaurant. Portions are more than enough for two people and even good for three. Try it and do not give a second thought.

I came here with my cousin from out of town and his two friends. We weren't really sure what to order and we're into familiar with the family style dining. Our waitress Danielle was so helpful and kind and really made us feel special. Everything she recommended was fantastic. I honestly couldn't say enough good things about her. The owner even stopped by our table to say hi. The place was packed and had a very good vibe, I'm still with even being that busy all the staff that we interacted with made us feel special and took time out to make sure we were having a good time.

This place is outstanding. Some of the best Italian food I’ve had in my life. You can’t go wrong here if you’re in the mood for Italian. Heads up, it’s family style so be really hungry if it’s only two of you. Or make friends with the table next to you and split something. :)The deserts are good but not as great as the entrees. But be sure to top of your meal with a limoncello.

Food was excellent, portions are not massive but enough. Service was personable and friendly. We liked it so much that we went back the following night! Highly recommended.

Great for big groups due to huge portion. Each plate serves 2-3people. Found out when the dishes were served. I wish the waiter’d told us since we were 3 girls ordering 3 dishes... The food was okay. Very comforting, I could imagine Italian grandma cooking these meals.
